At Last

I have finally made a card...BUT...I'm not convinced I like it lol. My mojo has obviously gone somewhere good because it's showing Little sign of returning lol. Still I've had this LOTV image coloured for a little while and after having a ratch through my scraps box I came up with this card.
I am going to enter this into this weeks "Stamp Something Challenge - Something With Flowers" and "Stamps R Us challenge - For the Girls".

 Attention To Detail:

This image has been coloured with my promarkers: cool grey 1-5, cool aqua, powder blue, orchid, lilac, blossom, carnation pink and pear green, and I have decoupaged the teddy and the balloons for a 3d effect. I have added gems to the centre of the flowers for sparkle and highlighted the balloon strings with my clear stardust pen.

I have added some faux stitching to the card. No sentiment as it could be used for a birthday, mothers day, or thinking of you etc. The gingham paper is by Craft Creations and the white  and lilac card from the paper mill shop.

Well I had a nice little surprise from Mr Taxman on this months wage, so have ordered me some new stamps, flowers, ribbons and papers. So hopefully it will spark my enthusiasm and entice my mojo out of it's hiding place lol.

Sketch Saturday Challenge #142

Finally got round to making a card, my mojo is not at it's best obviously needs this holiday as much as I do lol. I received this image as part of a swap and couldn't wait to colour her in, so decided to use the Sketch Saturday layout for the card. I'm also going to enter it into Totally Papercrafts Clean and Simple challenge as it has little embellishments (however delete me if in appropriate).

Attention to detail:

The image has been coloured with my promarkers: cornflower blue, blue pearl, cool grey 1,2,3,4,5, satin, blush, dusky pink, cocoa, burnt umber and chestnut.  The image is called "Waiting Tilda" and is from the Magnolia "Your so special 2011 range". I added 2 little gems to her shoes as fasteners. The sentiment which I thought matched the image is from "Lili Of The Valley".

The design papers are from the "Basic Grey Sugar Rush" pad. The embossed panel was created with my cuttlebug and roses embossing folder. I added some gems but wanted to keep the card quite simple. It could be used for any occasion really.

Tag....You're it!!

A quick quick make today. When I make a square card I always cut A4 down to size, so have hundreds of off cuts in my scraps box. So I decided to use some of them to make a few tags like this one above. I used a template for the shape then ran the card through my cuttle bug snowflakes embossing folder and inked the edge with black.

I then stamped the sentiment onto the tag and punched a hole and attached the pink eyelet. I then punched a further two holes to tie the ribbon through. I then attached the Diane Duda image, which has been coloured with my promarkers.

P..P..P..Pick Up A Penguin

There is a new challenge blog in town "Less Is More" dedicated souly to the art of making clean and simple cards, which I often admire but never quite get right lol. Anyway this week is challenge #1 and the theme is "Black, White and Pink".

Attention to Detail:

The image "Penguin Love" by Dian Duda for Sugar Nellie has been coloured with my promarkers: cool grey 1-5, black, pumpkin, honeycomb, ginger, blossom, carnation pink and rose pink. I have added a touch of sparkle with my clear sakura stardust pen.

I created the small embossed panel with my snowflakes embossing folder and cuttlebug, the ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment is from a "Lili Of The Valley" Christmas Set. I think this stamp would also double up as a perfect winter Wedding or Anniversary card too.

I am also going to enter this card into this weeks "Allsorts  ~ It Must be Love Love Love" challenge, and "Die Cut Dreams Christmas Club ~ #52 The Gift Of Love" as Mr Penguin is giving Mrs Penguin his heart. I'm also going to enter "Stamps R Us Challenge #13 Animals".

Sketch Saturday ~140

I was inspired by this weeks "Sketch Saturday # 140" layout and came up with this card. I've not yet added a sentiment as I can't decide what it's going to be, the card and matching ATC are for a swap.

Attention to detail:

The stamp is from my "Miss Anya Love" collection and she has been coloured with promarkers: Cinnamon, cocoa, burnt umber, crimson red, burgundy, cool grey 1,2,3,4,5 and Black. I have highlighted the beads on her necklace with my white gel pen and the heart with my silver stardust pen.

The design paper used on this card is from the Cupcake/celebrate 12 x 12 sheet range by Basic Grey, I have used red and white card from Papermill and the embossed panel was created with my hearts embossing folder and cuttlebug. The ribbon and buttons are from my stash and the lace edging was created with my Martha Stewart punch.

I had also intended to enter my card into the Creative Card Crew - whose theme was "Show us the colours of your country", my country being England and the colours of the national flag Red and White, but I've just missed the closing deadline lol.

I'm also entering the following challenges:

CES Challenge - #21 Bold and Bright.
Charizma Cards - #4 Valentines/Love.
