If you would like to be in with a chance of winning this brand new, un-used Inkadinkado "Kids Quotables" stamp then simply leave me a comment and a link to your blog so I can find you again.

In a weeks time I will pick a name out of the hat :).

If you're feeling blue....

Well Good Evening,

This is a bit late for me so I will be quick and to the point. I was asked to make a  bright and cheery "Get Well Soon" card and this is what I came up with. Using this super cute "Lili Of The Valley" image.

This little bunny was coloured up with my promarkers: Tulip yellow, Mustard, Gold, Warm Grey 1 to 5, Pastel Pink, Cornflower Blue, Blue Pearl, Marine, Orange, aubergine, shale and Cool Grey 1. I used my white gel pen to highlight his little cheeks.

The adorable quote is by "Inkadinkadoo" and I thought it was perfect for the card. The design papers are scraps of really really old papers I bought many moons ago when I first started card making.

I'm not 100% happy with this card, but it's needed for tomorrow and I'm to shattered to do another lol.

Thanks for looking :) .

Sketch Saturday Challenge Entry

Evening all,

Firstly a BIG thank you for my well wishes. To be honest I'm not feeling any better, had my bloods yesterday  so will be a while longer before I know what the cause is. What is Crafting again? :) lol!

Anyway it's taken a few days to get this card together, I was inspired by the "Sketch Saturday" challenge.

I have used my new "lili Of The Valley" stamp, i've been after this one for ages. I coloured him with my promarkers: Cornflower Blue, Blue Pearl, Tan, Caramel, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Cool grey 1-5, Olive Green, Moss Green and Marsh Green. His cheeks and legs have been highlighted with my white gel pen. and he was cut out with my square nesties.

The papers are snippets from an old m12 x 12 "Crate Paper  - Bounce (Taylor Collection)" and 12 x 12 "Authentique - Promenade Paper".  I also used my "Swiss Dots " embossing folders for the embossed panel. All edges of the card have been edged with my silver ink pad and silver stardust pen to add a little sparkle.  The inside of the card has been decorated to match the front.

Thanks for looking :).
P.S. I'm having a little RAK, the post is at the top of my blog and i will choose the name out of the hat on the 28th.

Monday....Monday

Afternoon,
Thought I'd share this card with you it sort of all just fell together this morning.

I have used "Tilda with Heart" and coloured her with my promarkers: Cool grey 1-5, ice grey 1-5, black, Cyan and Aqua. She has had her cheeks and knees highlighted with my white gel pen. The frame that surrounds "Tilda" was created with my "oval nesties" which were embossed with my "Swiss Dots Folder" and raised on foam pads to create depth.

The gorgeous gorgeous card blanks are from "My Mums Craft Shop" along with the design papers which is by "Authentique - Journey collection". The sentiment is by "Penny Black", and I have added some faux stitching.

The scrolls were made using a  "Marianne creatables" die cut and were embossed with my "Swiss dots folder" and the butterflies were made with my "Tonic Studio" punch, glittered and they were all attached with foam pads for depth.

Anyway thanks for looking, just have to make the box for this card now.

Just Jesting :)

Evening everybody,

Another scheduled post from me, I'm currently making the most of the sunny spell and very probably making the most of living in the Lake District and out walking :).
I wanted to share this card inspired by this weeks "Sketch Saturday " layout.

This gorgeous little Tilda has been coloured with my promarkers: Antique Pink, Cocktail Pink, Salmon Pink, Cocoa, Cinnamon, Caramel, Meadow Green, Leaf Green, Satin, Blush, Dusky Pink, Cool Grey 4 and 5. She has been highlighted on her cheeks etc with my white gel pen.

I have gone with the theme at this weeks "Passion For Promarkers" challenge white on white, and it says on their rules you can edge the ends of your card with colour so I've edged the butterflies and the roses to match Tilda. I've used my "Swiss Dots" and "Tea Party" embossing folders and "Tonic Studio" butterfly punch on the inside and outside of the card.

The beautiful white roses and silver bell are all from the "Ribbon Girl" and the sentiment is hand written.

Thanks for looking. Still got one more week off work Yipeee :) .
Catch up with you all soon.

Happy Easter

I'm not giving Easter Eggs this year, I'm on  strict strict budget and personally think they are a rip off, you just pay for packaging these days the eggs are tiny.

I did however make this "Easter Celebration Cake". The cake is a chocolate Victoria sponge recipe, swapping 1z of flour for 1 oz of cocoa powder. This was sandwiched together with chocolate butter cream one cooled. I then spread more buttercream round the edge of the cake and added my chocolate fingers. I used dark and plain chocolate fingers.

I then melted some milk chocolate and poured this onto the top of the cake once the chocolate fingers were in place and finally added the mini eggs.
It's since been cut up and shared out and every last crumb has been eaten. But it is very very rich and even the most hardened choca-holic would struggle lol.

Magic

Afternoon everyone,

Finally had time to sit down and craft, my lovely other half had whisked me away for a few days break, it was lovely. Anyway this card and gift is inspired by this months "By The Cute and Girly" challenge which is "Once Upon A Time" project based on your favourite story, nursery rhyme or fairytale.

I have so so many favourite books but not many stamps that would do them justice except for this one....So I went with "Harry Potter". I adore the books every bit as much as the films and know them inside out.  I have used this adorable "Lili Of The Valley" stamp and hope the girls don't mind, but had to sketch on some glasses, and added "Hogwarts Magic" to the spell book (which was decoupaged).

I coloured the image with my promarkers: Satin Blush, Dusky Pink, Tan, Caramel, Cinnamon, Cocoa, cool grey 1-5, black, warm grey 1-5, ice grey 345, blue pearl, denim blue, tea green,  and pastel blue and highlighted with my white gel pen. The eagle eyed amongst you will notice the spell escaping from the book is "Wingardium Leviosa", which was one of the first spells Harry and Co learnt at Hogwarts.

The papers are by "Craft Creations" and "Dovecraft Princess Fairytale", the ribbon and fibres are from my stash and the stars were created with my nesties. The sentiment is by "Lili Of The Valley" and the word "Magic" was cut out from some old text from a very very very old book (do not condone cutting up new books).

The gift bag contains some "Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans" (or Asda gourmet beans to you and me)watch out for the earwax flavour. I also have to say that my other half's Nana is an actress and she has appeared in "Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone". When Harry is on the Hogwarts Express and the lady comes round with the sweet trolley....yep you guessed it that's her :).

Anyway thanks for looking.

Vous Me Conduisez Sauvage

Hello :)
I hope this works it's a scheduled post!

Got a little card to share with you, I was having a ratch through my paper folder and found these old  "7 Gypsies papers" with a french map and french writing to the reverse and some scraps of "Prima Botanicals papers" and this card kind of fell together.

I used my "Lili Of The Valley" stamp and coloured it with my promarkers: Satin, Blush, Dusky Pink, Tan, Sandstone, Putty, Caramel, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Shale and Umber. I stamped the image twice and raised it on foam pads to create depth.

The ribbon and twine are from the "Ribbon Girl", the flowers are from my stash and the pearls were sent to me from a blog buddy. The buttons have been recycled from clothing and the heart charm is from an old recycled bracelet.

The sentiment is handwritten and translated reads "You Drive Me Wild". I have decorated the inside of the card to match. The layout for the card is this weeks sketch from "The Sketchy Challenge".

Thanks for looking.
