Granddaughter Christening

Good Afternoon everyone, although I'm not sure whats good about it as this weather is dreadful. Feels like I should be breaking up for Christmas next friday instead of summer lol. Anyway, I have 2 Christening cards to share, I was asked to make these for a work colleague yesterday.

I only had one christening rubber stamp, but now i'm digital I got to purchase my second ever digi stamp lol :p . This one is from "Mo's Digital Pencil" and she has been coloured with my promarkers: satin, blush, dusky pink, putty, and apricot. She has been highlighted with stardust stickles and white gel pen.

I have not used any papers on this card, but as the little girls name is "Tilly Rose" I made a rose embossed background instead and of course embellished with paper roses and pearls from "the Ribbon Girl" and used my oval nesties. The verse inside the card is from Google.

the butterflies on the gift box are xmade with my tonic studio punch.

Thanks for looking :) .

Goddaughter Christening

Morning everyone,
As you read this I will be working my last saturday shift for 9 whole weeks :). This card  and candle set was requested by a work colleague for a Chistening tomorrow.

I used my "Lili Of The Valley" stamp and coloured it with my promarkers: cool grey1, blush, satin, dusky pink, lilac and lavendar. I highlighted her cheeks with my white gel pen. The papers are by "Craft Creations" and the buttons are from my stash. I have used my square and square fleur de lis nesties. The sentiment is computer generated.

The verse inside the card is from Google. The white and purple ribbon is from "The Ribbon Girl" and the silver cross charm is from my stash.

Thanks for looking and have a nice day :) .

Evening

I've been a little AWOL recently, the reason being I've bought a new camera. To cut a long story short, my old camera is a little poorly and in need of a new battery which would cost more than the camera is worth, so I decided to get a new one and have upgraded from a point and shoot to a compact DSLR. My new camera is a Panasonic Lumix G3.

So I've been out and about getting to grips with it whilst the weather has been dry. I've still got a long way to go and night classes booked for September to learn all the basics and stop cheating (auto function lol).

Anyway I've a few photo's to share later and hopefully some cards later in the week, when I hope to have a good catch up with you all.

Get Well Soon

Good Afternoon,
Thought I'd share this card I made for a girl at work who had a bit of a tumble down some stairs on Saturday. She is ok, bumped and bruised but nothing broken, so I made her this card and thought this "High Hopes" image was perfect, I've even given the dino regulation blue catering plasters !

I have decorated the inside of the card with matching papers and added a poem I found on the Internet.
I coloured the image with my promarkers: Salmon Pink, Cocktail Pink, Antique Pink, Rose Pink, Peach, Coral, French Blue and cool grey 1-5.

Sorry for the picture quality, I've mislaid my camera and had to use my phone for these ones,  tried to lighten them a bit in photoshop.

Ingredients:

Spots and dots embossing folder.
Square Nesties.
Promarkers.
Diamond Stickles.
Ribbon from stash.
DP - name unknown.

Thanks for looking :).

True Love Never Dies

Good Afternoon,

Well I've finally entered the digital age, this is my first attempt at using digi stamps and being a big fan of Vampires I couldn't resist this "Tiddly Ink - Vamp Me" stamp.

I coloured the image with my promarkers: Forest Green, Emerald Green, Cool Grey 4,5, Black, Satin, Blush, Dusky Pink, Henna, Burnt Sienna, Umber, Ice Grey 1,2, Pale Blue and Denim Blue. I have distressed the image with Crackle glaze to add that aged effect. The colours have bled slightly on her dress but it's all trial and error.

I took some white paper roses and coloured them with my black promarker and glittered them with black glamour dust and used these to embellish the card. The sentiment is computer generated.

Things Used:

Circle Nesties.
Rangers Crackle Glaze.
Prima Papers.
Paper Roses from The Ribbon Girl.
Black Glamour Dust.
Promarkers.
Stamp - Vamp Me Digi Stamp (Tiddly Inks).

Thanks for looking :)
