AWOL

Hi,
I'm still here, but had a weeks overtime at work, long shifts but I haven't really minded because the weather up here in Cumbria has been atrocious. Grey skies, gale force winds, rain and freezing cold for pretty much the most of July and June :( . But my holiday have resumed and I'm off until September so hope to catch up with you all and have some cards to share soon.

Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby

Good Evening,

This is my last card of the week, an anniversary card made for my parents up-coming anniversary next month. I feel so lucky to have had them both together all of my life and I'm proud they have reached 40 years :).
I used a side step card and "Prima" design papers.

I used this adorable "Lili Of The Valley" stamp, coloured with promarkers: Marsh Green, Crimson, Cardinal Red, Burgundy, Tan, Caramel, Cinnamon, Warm Grey 2,3, Satin, Blush, Pastel Blue, Denim Blue and Dusky Pink.

I used a Marianne Creatables Die for the butterflies and covered them with burgundy stickles. The sentiment is computer generated and I created the swirls with "Platinum Liquid Swirls".

Thanks for looking and enjoy your weekend :)

It Takes Two To Charlie Tango

Morning Everyone,

I'm back with a Commissioned Card made with my "Saturated Canary-Grey Tie" stamp, had it less than 24 hours and got 3 orders for it lol. Anyway this is a feminine take on the stamp.

I have again coloured the beautiful Anastasia with my promarker, changing the hair and eye colour as requested. I used: Black, Cool Grey 5, Cool Grey 4, Ice Grey 3, Ice Grey, 4, Crimson, Chestnut, Satin, Dusky Pink, Blush and Pastel Pink. I highlighted her eyelashes and tie with star dust stickles.

The Design papers are a mixture of "Basic Grey" and they have been distressed with Black Inks, The flowers are from "The Ribbon Girl" and have been coloured with my black marker and stickled. The key charm is also from "The Ribbon Girl" and the gems from my stash.

The sentiment is computer generated and also a play on words....Any of you who've read the book will know "Charlie Tango" is Christian's Helicopter.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

I Love Promarkers - #126 Sparkle.
Diva's By Design - #44 Anything goes.

Thanks for looking, I will return with a NON fifty shades card lol :) .

Laters Baby

Good Evening All,

Well having been addicted to the 50 shades Of Grey Books, I just could not resist this digi from "Saturated Canary - Grey Tie". I have kept the layout quite simple and masculine but distressed the papers and card.

Well I have coloured the lovely Anastasia with my promarkers: Satin, Blush, Dusky Pink, Pastel Pink, Cool Grey 4,5,  Black, Henna, Burnt Umber and Umber.

I have used a pearlised Grey paper and embossed it with my "Argyle" embossing folder. The sentiment is a popular quote from the book and hand written.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Creative Card Crew - Use Black Card Stock.

Sketch Saturday #216

Good Afternoon,

Well I've had a little holiday from blogging, week one of my holidays has flew by and I'm now into week 2. I have this card to share, made for my Niece who will be 8 in December. I used this adorable "Saturated Canary" image and the layout from the new "Sketch Saturday" challenge.

This adorable image reminds me of Cerys so much, very dainty little features and masses of long dark hair. I coloured her with my promarkers: Satin, Blush, Dusky Pink, Henna, Burnt Umber, Umber, Pastel Pink, Emerald, Midnight Blue, Denim Blue, French Navy, Carmine, Hot Pink, Magenta, Orchid, Amethyst, Pastel Yellow, Soft Lime, Canary, Baby Pink, Dusky Pink, Soft Green, Ice Grey 1,2,3 and Soft Green.

The design papers are by Basic Grey   . I have used my square and star nesties and my swiss dots and spots and dots embossing folders. The sentiment was computer generated.

I'd also like to enter:

Papertake Weekly Challenge - All Things Girlie.
The Poodles Parlour - Use A Digi Image.
Thanks for looking, will be back soon :) .

Confession Time

This is the reason I've abandoned my blog of late. I got in from work on Thursday after a particularly S****y day and my lovely other half had bought me these. Well 3 books in 3 days later I've finished them...Damn you Mr Grey...so addictive.

Anyway School has broken up and I'm on the first day of my 8 weeks holiday whoop whoop. Hoping to fit in some crafting in between adventures.

Catch up with you all soon :) .
