Off On My Jollies

Off to London town for a week with my other half, looking forward to the hustle and bustle and people watching, Notting Hill Carnival and a few other little treats. I'm not strange but living in the Lake District in "the middle of no-where" it's nice to experience the real world lol.

I shall be back in a week and another year older ! SHOCK! :0

Do All Things With Love

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

Good Morning,

Another card to share with you, this one is more simpler than yesterdays, but a bit more distressed. The design papers are from my scraps folder, so I'm not sure of the brand.

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

I've used  the "Tourist" digi from "Saturated Canary" and coloured her with my promarkers: Tea Green, Pastel Blue, Denim Blue, Warm Grey 1 to 5, Satin, Dusky Pink, Blush and China Blue. I placed a lace bow in her hair where the drawn in bow would be. She has been raised on foam pads.

I have decorated the inside of the card with matching papers, but left the greeting panel blank. The gorgeous lace I have used is from the "Ribbon Girl", it's a gorgeous ivory colour and very delicate.

The gorgeous sentiment is a "Pink Petticoat Digi Stamp" and it's perfect for this card as it's a birthday card for my friend who runs her own photography studio :).

Thanks for looking.

Christmas Wishes

You can purchase this card here.
Good Afternoon,

Have a Christmas Card to share with you. I spied this ribbon in my local craft shop (yes we finally have one) and the rest fell together from there lol!

I have used this super cute "Lili Of The Valley" image and coloured her with my promarkers: pear green, moss green, marsh green, olive green, tea green, pastel blue, denim blue, cool grey 1,3,5  ice grey 1,3, Chestnut, satin, blush, mustard, gold and Dusky Pink. I have added clear stickles to her hat and the snow and crackle glaze to the ice. I have also used my white gel pen to highlight the image.

The design papers are "Craft Creations" "Poolhouse Bias Plaid - Chatterbox inc" and "Seasons Greetings - My Minds Eye". The ribbon is gorgeous and has a beautiful swirled embossed pattern on it, I have added some "Platinum Liquid pearls" and a "Snowflake Charm" both from my stash. I used my "Marianne Creatable" dies to make the snowflakes and then dusted these with glamour dust. The sentiment is also by "Lili Of The Valley".

If you pull up on the ribbon you will find an hidden sentiment/bookmark. I stamped the sentiment onto the MME design paper. The sentiment is by "Penny Black" hence the snowflake embellishments. I have decorated the inside of the card to match the front.

Thanks For looking, hoping to now make at least one Christmas card a week until the start of December lol...not long until the big day itself.

I Want To Ride My Bicycle

Hi,
I just wanted to share this card that I made for my Brother for his Birthday  next week, I'm safe in posting it as him and his family are currently in Manchester Airport awaiting a holiday in New Zealand and Australia (jealous much!) lol. Anyway my Brother is into mountain biking big time so this "Lili Of The Valley" stamp was just perfect.

The stamp was coloured with my promarkers: warm grey 1 to 5, sandstone, caramel, cinnamon, sating, blush, dusky pink, cornflower, denim blue and pastel blue.  I highlighted it with my white gel pen.

The design papers I have used are all from my scraps folder, some are "Basic Grey". The "Bakers Divine Twine" is from "The Ribbon Girl".

This adorable sentiment is from "Pink Petticoat Stamps", I printed it onto white card but coloured it with my Caramel Promarker pen to match the colour scheme.
Hope he likes it.

Cinderella...You Shall Go To The Ball

Another Card to share with you I've been on a roll this week, I have used another Saturated Canary digi. I have used a square blank but extended it with extra card. The sentiment has been computer generated.

The gorgeous stamp has been coloured with my promarkers: Amethyst, Orchid, Lilac, Satin, Dusky Pink, Blush, Sunkissed Pink, Emerald, Mint Green, Chestnut, Henna, and Umber. I've added Diamond White stickles to her dress and platinum liquid pearls to her hair. I have cut her out and raised her up on foam pads to create some depth. The circle she is sitting on has been embossed with my "Music" embossing folder.

I have used 2 design papers from my scraps folder, they both have lots of script and print on them, the papers on the insert are the same as the front but have been reversed.

The roses were white, but I've coloured them with my amethyst promarker they are from "The Ribbon Girl" and the purple gems are from my stash.

A photo of the insert. The cream and purple paper has a quote from Shakespeare :"Shall I compare thee, to a summers day, thou art more lovely and more tempered yet, Rough winds doth shake the darling buds of may..."
Thanks for looking :) .

I have coloured this little lady with my promarkers: cool grey 1 to 5, black, navy blue, midnight blue, mustard, gold, caramel, cinnamon, dusky rose, purple, satin, blush and dusky pink.

The gingham paper is by "Craft Creations" and the  number paper is by "Basic Grey". The ribbons are from "The Ribbon Girl" and the little crayon button is from my stash along with the buttons.
