©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

Good Evening,

Just been watching the Great British Bake Off and now I'm soooooo hungry lol!.
Anyway I have this card to share with you, a custom order through Etsy using another Saturated Canary Stamp (I promise I do own other stamps lol).

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

I have used What The Librarian Saw and coloured her with my promarkers: Red, Peach, Mango, Bright Orange, Satin, Blush, Dusky Pink, Cool Grey1,2,3,4,5, Black, Forest Green, Caramel, Cinnamon, Tea Green, Pastel Blue, Denim Blue and Rose Pink. She has been highlighted with my white gel pen and her jumper and pen have been highlighted with my Clear Stardust pen.

The papers are Basic Grey and the black gems are Papermania. I used my Circle nesties and the black card is from my stash. I have left the design relatively clean and simple and the customer did not want a sentiment on the front of the card.

Thanks for looking.
I'm going to have to cave in and have some cheese on toast for my supper :).

Slam Dunk

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

Good Evening,

I have a quick card to share with you today, I've been practising colouring different skin tones (still needs some work).  I have used a Saturated Canary Image - Sports Boy.

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

He has been coloured with my promarkers: Raw Sienna, Caramel, Cinnamon, Cocoa, Coral, Cool grey 12345, Black, lipstick red, red, true blue, Bright Orange and Pumpkin. I have highlighted him with my white gel pen.

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

The papers are a mixture and really old scraps so I'm not sure of the brands anymore. I used my Stars nesties and the lettering are stickers which again are really old so I'm not sure of the brand. I have edged the orange layers with my orange stickles to add a little sparkle.

Thanks for looking :).

Sealed With A Kiss

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

Good Afternoon - Finally a card to share.
I tried to do this yesterday but Mr Blogger said No, you've reached your photo upload limit please buy some more space. At the moment I don't have the spare cash to do this, so took the drastic action of deleting all my 2009 posts and photos to free up more space :( .

Anyway I've tried something new and gone with a Pocket Fold Card, they are a lot easier than I thought :) .

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

I have used Red Gingham papers from "Craft Creations" and lots of embossed panels using my "Snowflakes" embossing folder. The Snowflakes on the front pocket were made with "Marianne Creatables dies" and raised on foam pads, the button middle is from "Haven Crafts". I have edged all the layers with "Stardust Stickles" and the ribbon is from "The Ribbon Girl".

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

I have coloured this "Lili Of The Valley" image with my promarkers (he reminds me of Oscar): cool grey 1-5, black, Crimson, Cardinal Red and poppy. I highlighted the snowflakes with "Stardust Stickles" too.

I have decorated the back of the card and left a blank panel on which to write your message. I can see me doing some more of this style of card this Christmas.

Holiday Snaps

I'm waiting for my card to dry before I can take the photo's, so will be sharing it tomorrow. So how about a few holiday snaps instead. Had a good chance to try out my new camera while we were away and I even got brave and took it out of Automatic mode.

You may think I'm mad leaving the peaceful idyllic Lake District to go to London, but we've really enjoyed having a good few days to wander and not just  do the typical touristy things, although my photos contradict this lol!

Welcome Baby Grace

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

Didn't think I was gonna get round to posting at all this week, we went back to school on Monday and it's been mad busy in the kitchen getting sorted and i'm shattered because my body has forgotten how strenuous my job is lol. But i'll soon be back in the swing of things.

Anyway, this card is for an old friend and work colleague who had a baby girl last Friday, I'm never going to forget her birthday as it was the day after mine :) .
Good Evening,

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

I used the beautiful "Bambino" digi stamp from Sugar Nellie and coloured her up with my promarkers: Satin, Blush, Dusky Pink, Sunkissed Pink, Dusky rose. I tried to keep the design of the card quit clean and simple. using my birds and swirls embossing folder and craft creations gingham paper.

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

"Welcome Baby Grace" was computer generated and "Congratulations on you new addition" is a paper make up stamp. I have edged the card with my white stardust stickles.

The verse printed inside of the card is from google.  Thanks for looking.

Flutter By ... Hi...

Good Morning,

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

You can buy this card HERE

Had a fab break away in London, I've been a few times before but this time it was nice to have a good few days to just wander. Have boxed card to share with you, using a "Saturated Canary - Chasing Butterflies" digi stamp. The sentiment is a "Pink Petticoat" digi stamp.

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

I have coloured the stamp with my promarkers: Putty, Satin, Blush, Dusky Pink, Pastel Pink, Oatmeal, Petrol Blue, Marine Blue, Warm Grey 1 to 5, Tan, Caramel,  Cinnamon, Umber and Shale. I have coloured the background with my Putty promarker and Antique Linen distress ink.

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

The design papers are from my scraps folder so I'm not really sure of the names but think there are some "Basic Grey" and "First Editions" in there. The flowers are by "Prima" and I've added button middles from "Haven Crafts" The "Crinkle Twine" is also from "Haven Crafts". I used my "Tonic Studio's Punch" to create the butterflies and added them with foam pads.
I used "Platinum Liquid Pearls" to create the swirls and my "Clear Stardust Pen" to highlight the butterfly.

©Iona Rose Hand Crafted Cards

I have decorated the inside of the card with matching papers and also created a presentation box to protect the card during transit.
