New Year...New Life

Well Happy New Year Everyone,

I have been locked away crafting all day, desperately trying to ignore the storms going on outside. I have really enjoyed myself using lots of old stash, new frantage powders and new roses and pearls. I have made an exploding box card for a Baby Girl.

The papers are beautiful vintage style design by Kaiser Crafts - Mittens and I used a Lili Of The Valley Stamp. (I apologise for the photo quality need to re-do these in a better light).

I have used Roses, lace, ribbon and pearls all from Ribbon Girl in contrasting shades of pink, Cream and Coffee.

The butterflies were created with a mariannes die and i used shabby white enamel frantage on them and beads in the centre.

The sentiments were computer generated and the poem was from the internet.  I've just really enjoyed getting lost in my creativeness today. Speaking of storms here's a photo of todays high tide. We have been on Red alert for coastal flooding here in Cumbria - not been very good weather wise.

Whitehaven Harbour, the photo on the left taken today (internet) and the photo on the Right taken last September (mine).

Thanks For Looking and stay safe out there.
