Winter Sparkle

Good Morning,

Another Sunday and another challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu, this week our purple hostess is Chris and she has chosen the theme: Sparkle with sequins or gems.

I have a Christmas Card to share with you made with my "Magnolia Tilda with Little Rudolph" stamp.

I coloured Tilda with my promarkers and added diamond stickles for a little sparkle, she was cut out using my oval and scalloped oval nesties. I added some liquid pearls to the background also. I then framed Tilda with irredescent beads from "The Ribbon Girl" and with my "Memory Box Die", I also added gems to the centre of all the snowflakes and diamond stickles. The blue ribbon, lace and all flowers are also from "The Ribbon Girl".

This is a close up of the sparkle and details. The DP's are Basic Grey, I also edged the whole card with beads you can never have enough sparkle at Christmas.

Thank you for looking, we cannot wait to see your entries. Don't forget to check out my fellow teamies inspirational projects over at Eclectic Ellapu.

White Trash Circus

Good Afternoon,
Finally it's half-term at last and I'm glad of the rest.

Thought I'd share this card with you all, this is a Custom Order, the lady asked me to make a "30th Birthday Nephew card - he's a guitarist with the band White Trash Circus".
Well I couldn't not use this fab "Kenny K" digi stamp.

I coloured the image with my promarkers and added a touch of white gel pen and clear stardust. The numbers, image and stars were all die cut with nesties.

The sentiments were computer generated and the font is called "for the one hundreth" which was free from the interweb. The design papers are "Basic Grey" and the holographic card is from my stash.

I am currently in the process of making a presentation box for the card. Hope my lady likes it.

Thanks for looking.

From The Heart - Eclectic Ellapu Challenge Time

Good Morning everybody,

Wow 9th February already and another challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu. This week it's the turn of us Purples and hour hostess is the lovely Trisha. She has chosen a them for you all: From The Heart - Valentines project must have die-cut heart on it.

I have made a card and a matching gift tag.

I used this gorgeous Magnolia Stamp from last years valentines collection and have coloured her with my promarkers and layered her up for depth. I have used my circle and square nesties, rose embossing folder, nellie heart multiframes and poinsetta dies. I made my own backing paper, i printed of love quotes and then stained the paper with antique linen distress inks. When dry i clear embossed my magnolia large heart stamp over the text, then heat embossed gold powder onto the hearts. I then scrumpled and distressed the paper before matting and layering. I also heat embossed the hearts with gold powder. The ribbon and beads are from "The Ribbon Girl" and gems from my stash.

I used my left over baking paper and scraps of card to make this matching gift tag. The flower was made with my poinsettia dies and i used my nellie multiframe heart dies and heat embossed them in gold. The beads are from "The Ribbon Girl" and the button and gems from my stash.

Well we cannot wait to see your lovely entries and dont forget to pop over to Eclectic Ellapu and check out the gorgeous inspiration from my teamies.

Thanks for Looking.

Let It Snow...Let It Snow...Let It Snow

Good Morning this is a scheduled post from me, things have been a bit manic around here for the last few weeks. I finally managed to get some crafty time in and decided to continue with my Christmas Cards as last year I didn't make any for family and friends as I simply ran out of time, energy and motivation.

I have used this gorgeous "Lili Of The Valley" stamp which I've coloured with promarkers, then i stamped over the top of the image with a clear embossing pad, added clear sparkle embossing powder and heated to produce a super sparkly finish. I have also added some shabby white enamel frantage around the edges of the image.

The design papers used throughout the card are "My Minds Eye - All Is Bright" and the sentiments are from "Lili Of The Valley" and the embellishments and frantage from "Live Love Crafts" and "The Ribbon Girl".

Thank you so much for looking, promise to visit you all soon.
